Will she be able to accept her powers?
Her Power : Ting is a young girl who can see the spirits around her. She befriends a young ghost searching for serenity named Xiu. Together, they will face challenges from both the real world and the spirit world, defend their principles, and discover whether her power is a gift or a curse.
Her Journey : Through five years of Ting's childhood, you will discover how her supernatural abilities set her apart from her peers. Will she be able to accept her powers? Will she be able to help her family, her friends, and the lost souls she encounters? Rival spirits will vie for her aid, guiding or deceiving her to pursue their own conflicting goals.
Her Destiny : To help Ting unravel the mystery behind this emotional journey, you'll need to have difficult conversations, save lost souls, solve thrilling puzzles, and stealthily evade malevolent spirits and other threats. Ting will also have to confront her own family, which is on the verge of collapse, and she may be their only salvation.
A Beautiful Cultural Adventure : Third Eye Open offers a stunning and vibrant style of "paper theatre," inspired by the origami funeral stipends of Southeast Asia. Its activities, locations, characters, and dialogue are steeped in Malaysian tradition, culture, and folklore. On this adventure, you'll visit morning markets, befriend an old monk, feast on Lok Loks and Nyonya Kuihs at the night market, avoid wandering forest spirits, and much more.
