INDIKA tells the story of a young nun who sets out to discover herself with an unusual companion: the devil himself.
Description
MEET A NOT-SO-ORDINARY NUN, Indika on Nintendo Switch!
INDIKA is a third-person game set in a strange world where religious visions clash with harsh reality. It tells the story of a young nun who embarks on a journey of self-discovery, accompanied by a most peculiar horned companion.
On the outside, Indika appears to be a typical nun trying to adapt to a difficult and monotonous monastic life. Humble and innocent in appearance, this young girl has had an improbable encounter: she is talking with the devil himself.
Indika's unusual connection with the Devil leads her on a journey beyond the safety of the monastery walls. The world she discovers can only be described as a wild mix of comedy and tragedy straight out of the novels of Dostoevsky and Bulgakov.
The themes of religion and authority are prominent throughout Indika's journey, and she will face many questions along the way. Guide her to find the answers one by one before she completes her life-changing odyssey.
Odd Meter is a small independent studio formerly based in Moscow and now operating in Kazakhstan. Its members prioritize aesthetics and are not afraid to push the boundaries of ethical norms. Their game, INDIKA, is a testament to this, as it openly challenges the industry's standard approach to video game creation.
