Set in the near future, "Evotinction" questions the relationship between evolution and extinction. As AI, gene editing, and quantum entanglement technologies develop rapidly, so do the potential threats they pose. Our greatest fear is that one day our greatest advances will turn against their creators.
A cutting-edge research facility has been invaded by AI drones infected with a virus that has wiped out humans. All connections to the outside world have been cut off. There is no sign of human life in the building. Thomas Liu, the head of the AI development department, is alone in the building, determined to stop the virus from spreading to the outside world and prevent the extinction of humanity through evolution.
Although not trained in combat, as a savvy researcher, Thomas is able to hack, jam, and manipulate all of these rogue AIs to navigate the complex. Long-range signal disruption, radio and electromagnetic jamming, hologram illusion, malware implantation, system takeover, IFF signal spoofing... Use the researcher's full arsenal of gadgets to fight your way to the heart of the building.
