Six years have passed since the large-scale conflict on Lunapolis when, from its headquarters on the moon, the Donpachi Corps detects a tiny disturbance lingering in space-time. Investigation reveals a massive transfer of solid matter from the past. Responsible for this act is the elemental doll “EXY”, supposedly destroyed at the end of the battle 6 years earlier when it went on the rampage. The battle between EXY, which seeks to rewrite history by traveling through time, and the Donpachi Corps, which wants to stop it, takes place in Japan in May 2008, and the world is once again plunged into the flames of war. The buzzing of the bee's wings continues!
Select one of three models, each characterized by its movement speed, firing mode and output. The “Classic Bomb Style” uses bombs to attack the entire screen while cancelling out enemy bullets. Power Style” can barely fire bombs, but can change firepower at will. And the “strong style” combines these two strengths. What's more, you can use the “Hyper Counter Mode” to boost your ship's power and neutralize enemy bullets at the same time.
