Cuphead is a platform and action game in the pure tradition of run and gun games , with a strong emphasis on epic boss battles. Inspired by 1930s cartoons, its graphics and soundtrack were created by meticulously respecting the techniques of the era: traditional hand-drawn animation on cels, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz compositions.
Play as Cuphead or Mugman , solo or in local co-op , explore strange worlds, unlock new weapons, master formidable special techniques and discover hidden secrets to try and repay your debt to the Devil himself.
The "The Delicious Last Course" expansion is included on the cartridge. Cuphead and Mugman are joined by Madame Chalice , a new playable character with unique abilities. Embark on an adventure on a brand-new Aquarelle Island, battle even crazier bosses, find new weapons and charms, and help Chef Lasalière unravel the mystery of the legendary Chalice.
