Dive into BIRDCAGE's explosive soundscape. POLYGON BIRD Games' retro-futuristic shoot 'em up soundtrack is coming to vinyl, featuring an intense composition by Barry "Epoch" Topping.
Description
An Electrifying Retro-Futuristic Soundtrack
Barry "Epoch" Topping returns with the long-awaited soundtrack for BIRDCAGE. This highly acclaimed game marks the debut of POLYGON BIRD Games.
BIRDCAGE is a fast-paced vertical scrolling shoot 'em up that combines the explosive action of 90s arcade classics with modern gameplay and storytelling. What value does a bullet have when you wield a sword?
While players praise BIRDCAGE for bringing retro aesthetics into the modern world, its unparalleled soundtrack is always highlighted for the same reasons. This is where Barry Topping comes in, known for the acclaimed Paradise Killer soundtrack, and more recently, continuing to spread those funky city pop vibes with his own project, The Needs. But for BIRDCAGE, it was time to move away from his "signature sound" and explore a different soundscape that had also always fascinated him.
BIRDCAGE is an absolutely satisfying experience in every respect. It's time to get on board the spaceship and drop the needle on the record.
