Relive the terror in The Thing: Remastered on PS5!
It’s back: The third-person shooter/survival horror game that originally released in 2002 as a sequel to the iconic 1982 film is remastered by Nightdive Studios, bringing its innovative blend of fast-paced squad-based action and survival horror into the modern era. This version features anti-aliasing, pixel lighting, 4K resolution, and up to 120 frames per second.
You play as Captain JF Blake, the leader of a US Special Forces rescue team sent to the frozen wastes of Antarctica with the mission of investigating the atrocious events that led to the deaths of several American scientists at the Outpost 31 research center . Lost in this inhospitable environment, your group encounters a strange form of extraterrestrial life capable of transforming itself into the appearance of the people it kills. Trapped by the elements and threatened by this nightmarish entity, you will need all the members of your squad to hope to achieve your objectives or simply survive. If only you could know which of your allies are still human…
The Thing: Remastered – Deluxe Edition includes the physical game on PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch plus exclusive collector’s items:
