Description
A final investigation at the heart of a film noir
The Last Case of John Morley plunges you into the tormented mind of John Morley, a 1940s private detective, as he prepares to face the most disturbing case of his career.
After several months of convalescence in the hospital, following serious injuries sustained during his previous investigation, Morley returns to his office. There he receives a visit from the mysterious Lady Margaret Fordside , an English countess haunted by an old tragedy.
Lady Fordside hires Morley to reopen a case that has been cold for twenty years: the unsolved murder of her daughter. While the police have arrested some suspects, the Countess is convinced that the real killer is still at large.
What begins as a simple reopening of a case quickly transforms into a disturbing investigation , conducted through unsettling mansions, forgotten places, and painful memories that refuse to stay buried.
