Michael and his colleagues, Sara Whitlock and Daniel J. Hart, are genetic scientists at the Epsilon Research Institute. As part of their program, they decide to conduct research in the nearest nature sanctuary.
During this ill-fated journey, they are victims of an unimaginable incident. Their car plunges down a road and ends up in a deep valley. Trapped and alone, Michael must find his friends and survive a series of dangerous and deadly events, leading them to believe that this place hides a dark and malevolent past.
