Street Fighter III first hit arcades in 1997 with the game New Generation, retaining only Ryu and Ken from the previous games, but introducing a series of new characters. The latest iteration, 3rd Strike, is widely considered one of the greatest versus fighting games of all time, and is arguably responsible for one of the greatest moments in the competitive scene, with Daigo's comeback against Justin Wong in "Evo Moment #37".

Composers Hideki Okugawa and Yuki Iwai explored a range of energetic styles across their three tracks, leaning heavily into jazzy house, jungle and drum'n'bass - with a few samba beats thrown in for good measure.

The tracks have been specially remastered for vinyl and have been pressed onto four audiophile-quality, 180-gram black discs. They are housed in individual sleeves, contained by an outer hardshell case.
