Part meta element of the video game Hunt: Showdown, part internal group of Crytek game developers, Port Sulphur Band began as a vehicle to tell stories from the world of Hunt, a supernatural shooter set in the dawn of blues and jazz in Louisiana in 1895. Since the release of their debut album in 2019, Port Sulphur Band has become a cult phenomenon, with over 34 million streams across three albums. Their first vinyl collection, The Devil's Fee, sold out in four hours and reached number 62 on the German charts. Their second vinyl album, Shadows Calling, collects 27 original songs from their catalog, including "Rise Up Dead Man," "It's Dark in New Orleans," and "Bullet's Lullaby."
