Released in 2020, the Serious Sam prequel saw Sam “Serious” Stone lay waste to the global invader Mental and his hordes with extreme prejudice and a rocket-firing chainsaw. Croteam’s in-house composer Damjan Mravunac went all-out with the soundtrack, stuffing it with thunderous orchestral rock, big drums, sweet guitar tones, catchy melodies, operatic choir, bluegrass (?!), and cinematic synths.

It wouldn’t be a true comeback without a dash of thrash either: Nine Inch Nails guitarist Robin Finck lends his axe to “Hero Too”; while Croatian heavy metal band Undercode return to the Serious Sam series, with the tracks “Dominate the Battlefield,” “Foreverwar” and “Panopticon.” All the music has been given a magical touch by trusted sound engineer Joe Caithness to add an extra polish to this epic, thunderous rhapsody. 19 tracks will be pressed onto 180g audiophile-grade discs in translucent yellow.

The beautiful hand-drawn cover art is by Tom J Manning, the talented illustrator-designer of our previous Croteam release, The Talos Principle.
