Hitman: Codename 47 is a relatively early score for Jesper Kyd, who is now a world-renowned and award-winning video game composer. It was during the European Demo scene that Kyd first worked with the future founders of IO Interactive, composing the music for their first stealth action game. Despite the memory constraints of the DirectMusic system at the time, Kyd produced a combination of ambient and cinematic music. His signature of grandiose melodies over groovy electronics is on full display here, particularly in the hypnotic title track.
