The year is 199X. A nuclear war has devastated New York City and the few survivors are struggling to survive on the streets of riots and crime. The city is controlled by gangs of criminals, who terrorize the survivors and fight for dominance. Refusing to accept this life any longer, Billy and Jimmy Lee decide to rid their city of these gangs.
Experience the beginnings of the iconic Double Dragon brothers as they face new enemies and familiar faces in this alternate history. In this new roguelite-style game, each session is a new chance to dive into even more action. Featuring a unique dynamic leveling system, missions will scale in difficulty based on the order in which you play them.
Play as iconic brother duo Billy and Jimmy, Marian and Uncle Matin, or 9 other unlockable characters with unique moves and playstyles. With 2-player local co-op, enjoy quadruple the action with a friend as you rid the streets of vermin.

FAST-FAST ACTION : Choose 2 fighters and switch between them easily, for a multitude of devastating combos and defensive and offensive moves.
BEAT THEM ALL ROGUELITE-TINT : Discover an infinite range of gameplay possibilities with the dynamic mission selection feature. The order in which you choose your missions will affect their length, number of enemies, and overall difficulty. Choose how to improve your characters with random upgrades that can be purchased at the end of each mission, or save your money to resurrect them mid-mission.
13 UNIQUE PLAYABLE CHARACTERS : Start the adventure with Billy, Jimmy, Marian and Uncle Matin. Earn tokens to unlock 9 other characters, each with unique strengths and playstyles. Strategically choose your fighting duo by analyzing each character's strengths and weaknesses.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR EXPERIENCE AND REWARDS : Adjust the game difficulty to change the amount of tokens earned per session and use them to unlock content in the Token Shop, such as characters, cheats, and more. A modifier can be used to enable permadeath or infinite mode.
LOCAL CO-OP : Join a friend and rid the streets of vermin together in 2-player local co-op mode.
