You will control the two pilots and their plane
While the action moves at a fast pace, you will also need to consider some strategy, assigning your partner objectives in order to best succeed in your mission.
Iron Wings is first and foremost an arcade game, an aerial shooter, where shooting will not be enough, where each weapon, or tool mounted on each of the two planes will have its role to play in the accomplishment of each mission, and you will have to make the decision of what to do and how to do it.
During the flight, you will control both pilots and their aircraft, switching between them at any time, and giving orders to the other. Each of the two aircraft you choose will carry different additional tools to use during the mission.
Choosing the right camouflage will also influence your visibility to enemies, and therefore help you avoid some damage.
